Moving Home
If you are moving out of your home:

You need to give Ealing Homes four weeks' notice, unless you are being transferred by the council via Locata.

Like many other London boroughs, Ealing has a severe shortage of homes compared with the number of people who want to transfer. Only a very small number of people who need to move are likely to be assisted by the council.

What if I want to move to another council or Housing Association home?
There are a number of mobility schemes available to you:

Locata (moving within Harrow, Hillingdon, Ealing, Hounslow and Brent)

Homeswapper (swapping homes with someone else)
To apply fill out
Transfer Application Form and return it to your
area office.
