Insurance
The council is only responsible for insuring the structure of your home. You are responsible
for any loss or damage to your belongings through theft, fire, flooding or accident. If you are not
properly insured, contact a reputable insurance company for details of their schemes. We strongly
recommend that you take out your own home contents insurance.
Ealing Council
offers a special insurance scheme for council tenants that is negotiated at special rates with
a leading insurance company. The rates are very competitive and can be paid by cheque, postal order
or at the cashier's office at Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2LH.
