Tenants' Forum
The next Tenants' Forum is on Repairs and Maintenance and will take place on
Thursday 8 January 2009 at 6.30pm.
Four Forums will be held each quarter. Tenants from across the borough are welcomed to take
part in meetings that focus on a particular area of service and to make suggestions on how we can
improve it.
The second Tenants' Forum was held on Thursday 3 July 2008 and attendees met the
Environmental Services Team. The evening started with a surgery, offering tenants the opportunity
to raise their individual concerns about caretaking, cleaning and refuse services. The evening's
focal point was the launch of the
Estate Cleaning Service Handbook
. Tenants took active part in discussing the caretaking services provided by Ealing Homes and
the Environmental Services Team also described Ealing Homes' service standards and performance
targets.
Tenant Forum Report - 3 July 2008
The third Forum, on Thursday 2 October, gave tenants the chance to meet Ealing
Homes employees and discuss the recent Decent Homes work. Head of the Asset and Investment Team,
Phil Boxhall, gave a presentation to the group outlining the progress of the programme. Residents
then took part in two workshops in which they fed back ways of improving service delivery.
