Who's in charge of what?
The
Estate Services Structure chart may help you to understand who is responsible
for each aspect of Estate Services.
- The
Caretaking Manager is responsible for all the caretakers across the borough and is
there to ensure that the cleaning and caretaking activities are carried out to standard on on the
days they are required to happen.
- The
Contacts Manager is responsible for the mobile cleaning team, ensuring appropraite
cover is in place in liaison with the caretaking manager. This role is also responsible for the
monitoring of any SLA's we have in place and the jet washing team.
- The
Quality Officer role is there to carry out independent checks to ensure that
standards are being maintained and this is done in conjunction with the published cleaning
standards.
Which Senior Caretakers are in charge of what area?
All the senior caretakers have qualified as assessors in the British Institute Cleaning
Science which is a recognised qualification in Cleaning Standards and also in Customer Care
(both NVQ Level 2). A number of other estate service staff have completed NVQ Level
2 in Cleaning Standards and the remaining are currently been trained.
