Antisocial Behaviour
We believe people have a right to feel safe and secure where they live as well as to enjoy
peace and quiet in their homes.
We are committed to effectively tackling nuisance behaviour and improving the quality of life
for our residents. We take antisocial behaviour seriously and have made great progress in the last
few years at improving the service we provide to our residents. We wish to strengthen and further
develop our response to tackling antisocial behaviour and our
Antisocial Behaviour Strategy outlines how we plan to do this.
All
council tenants have tenancy
conditions that prohibit them (and their families or guests) from causing antisocial behaviour. In
certain circumstances, the council also has powers to take action against others who are not
council tenants.
