Deductions from Benefit
Third party deductions can only be set up for tenants in arrears who receive income
support/job seekers allowance. This is only permitted where the arrears balance exceeds four
times the gross weekly rent.
Your Housing Officer can apply to have your weekly net due plus the current rate of £3.05 per
week deducted directly from your benefit.
