Equality and Diversity
Ealing Homes is taking a fresh look at the way Equality and Diversity issues are handled. We want to make sure, and be able to show, that we are tacking inequality and promoting diversity.
To ensure we provide excellent services that reflect the needs of all residents we are carrying out Equality Impact Assessments (EqIAs) on all our policies and procedures. We want to be certain we monitor how issues around gender, race, disability, age, sexuality, class, and religious belief are built into our policies and services at all levels.
We have improved our EqIA forms and guidance, reviewed past EqIAs and prioritised a schedule of future EqIAs. New EqIAs are being completed now for all the key service areas.
We are also reviewing our Resident Involvement Strategy, to make sure that that all residents have an opportunity to make their voice heard.
