Monday 11 August saw the launch of another Ealing Homes ‘week of action’ – this time on the Havelock Estate.
Working closely with the police and partnership agencies, Ealing Homes officers are addressing crime and antisocial behaviour, repairs and maintenance issues, environmental issues, tenancy verifications and block inspections.
Some of the activities included:
Many thanks to all involved: the police, Ealing Council’s Community Safety Unit, Envirocrime, Southall Park Rangers, St Mungo's Outreach Team, Home Office Immigration Team, Drug and Alcohol Action Programme (DAAP), Fire Brigade and DIAS (drugs awareness).
Humphrey Narebor, Antisocial Behaviour Housing Officer, said: “Ealing Homes believes that partnership working is key to solving ASB issues. The week of action highlights the commitment and understanding of all those who participated, involved the residents and provided value for money as it brings different resources to our estates.”
All those involved will complete Action Sheets which identify any issues raised, locations and outcomes.
